Success for All

Success for All
To help our students do better, we need to do better. We need to improve their experiences in and out of the classroom, remove obstacles to their success and give them support when and how they need it. At PSU, we put students at the center of everything we do, so they can do everything they want to do.

WHAT IS SUCCESS FOR ALL?
Success for All is our strategy to ensure every student can achieve their goals, regardless of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status or background. It builds on our Students First foundation, laying out a plan to help more students persist and graduate over the next six years.

WHAT WE'RE DOING
We are working with leaders across campus to meet our students where they are with student-centered learning environments, academic support and financial help. We are also reducing bureaucratic hurdles students face and replacing them with experiences that support connection and learning.

HOW WE'RE DOING IT
Teams of faculty and staff across campus are managing and assessing projects and programs mapped to each of our objectives. They are continuously using data dashboards to measure our progress, providing status reports and adjusting our strategy to meet the needs of our students.

Students First model of success
Student success is Students First. Regardless of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or familial educational achievement, PSU students are empowered and supported in their academic and personal goals. Student success is accomplished with, for and by students with a holistic, equitable, and student-centered campus community. We will achieve student success for all through:
1. ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Cultivating learning environments in and out of the classroom that support student academic performance.
2. AFFORDABILITY
Making it easier for our students to pay for college.
3. TARGETED AND HOLISTIC SUPPORT
Providing help to specific students when and how they need it.
4. STUDENT-CENTERED EXPERIENCES
Changing PSU policies, practices, and procedures that block student success.
